PREMA HEALING MEDITATION is a process developed by Carol Crane and Dean Graves which offers a combination of classic and contemporary tools for healing to those of our world who experience pain and suffering. The methods of healing that we share are an accumulation of teachings from various sources. Selection of which methods to include in our teachings is solely based upon whether it has been effective in providing the most profound healing for us, as well as those whom we have been privileged to work with. The word "Prema" means love in Sanskrit - the quality of divine and pure love- which is ultimately the basis for all healing. Fully understanding this truth is the path of healing and enlightenment.

Humans are a mind/body/spirit complex. The spirit creates the mind and the mind creates the body. When we have a physical (body) illness, we assume that healing occurs when we treat only the body. However, the source cause of the illness is always the mind/spirit. We may be able to put a bandage on the physical wound but until we heal the mind/emotion the physical illness will return. Prema Healing Meditation methods are designed to heal the source cause of all illness and not just treat the physical manifestation of the illness.

We do not presume to be able to heal on your behalf because only you can heal yourself. We create our own illness and we must release the causing distortion to really heal. We work to guide individuals in developing and incorporating successful methods of healing into a daily practice of meditation that facilitate your becoming fully "present". Healing is an integral part of your very personal journey through life. Life's journey is most efficaciously conducted by awakening and then using awareness to release the root causes of suffering so that it never need to be revisited again. Your practice of meditation will become personalized to the point that it works optimally for you.

Meditation is the process of becoming fully present. It is not simply a practice of sitting quietly on a cushion for some period of time, but rather a practice of being aware with understanding of yourself and your experiences all day, everyday. Being fully present through meditative practices permits a person to live without suffering.
